Time: 10:00 am

This is part of the Puppy Class, which meets Saturday AND/OR Mondays. That means your class fee covers not just six classes, but twelve....if you are able to make it to both. Most people find some weeks they can only attend one, and that's fine too!

* Real-World ObedReal-World Obed

Time: 1:00 pm

(6 weeks) This class if for Intermediate level dogs but focuses less on typical AKC Obedience skills in favor of skills needed to navigate interactions encountered in daily life. Behaviors taught include polite sits for attention, settling quietly at the owner’s feet, and responding to “Leave it” for anything, not just food!

(6 weeks) To be taken after at least two Basic classes, this class advances the skills and range of Obedience training. Dog sports may be introduced, including Agility and Rally.

* Basic Obed RefreshBasic Obed Refresh

Time: 1:00 pm

(6 weeks) DAYTIME This class is for dogs that have been taught basic obedience skills but seem to have forgotten them! The focus is on manners: greeting guests without jumping up, walking politely on a leash, and staying put when told to.

* Intro to ObedIntro to Obed

Time: 6:00 pm

(6 weeks) This "Intro to Force-Free Obedience" class is for dogs just starting training classes and/or dogs with some training but have not learned through science-backed, force-free training methods. Clicker training is taught, clicker included!

* Basic Obed SBasic Obed S

Time: 6:00 pm

(6 weeks) Basic Obed S is one half of the Basic Obedience curriculum and is for dogs who have taken a Playful Pups class already. It may be taken either before or after Basic L (loose-leash walking).

* TADSAW TrainingTADSAW Training

Time: 7:30 pm

This class is restricted to those enrolled in the TADSAW service dog training program.

* TDI/CGC PrepTDI/CGC Prep

Time: 1:00 pm

2 weeks This class prepares dog handler teams to pass the Canine Good Citizen test. It also will prepare dogs for the Therapy Dog International test. The tests are similar and are evaluated simultaneously; however, dogs need to be 6 months old for CGC and 1 year old for TDI.

* Novice RallyNovice Rally

Time: 6:00 pm

(6 weeks) Rally Obedience is for dogs that have taken Basic L and Basic S, or for dogs who have excellent Obedience skills already and want to enjoy a dog sport that allows them to practice those skills in a novel way. Many dogs go on to compete and earn AKC titles and ribbons!
