Time: 6:00 pm

(6 weeks) This Basic Obedience L class focuses on loose-leash walking and is one half of the Basic Obedience curriculum. It is geared for dogs who have taken a Playful Pups class already, since it builds on those skills. It may be taken either before or after Basic Obedience S (stationary behaviors), but both are necessary for a complete Basic Obedience course.

* Force-Free ObedForce-Free Obed

Time: 7:30 pm

(6 weeks) This "Intro to Force-Free Obedience" class is for dogs just starting training classes and/or dogs with some training but have not learned through science-based, force-free training methods. Clicker training is taught, clicker included!

Time: 6:00 pm

(6 weeks) Basic Obed S is one half of the Basic Obedience curriculum and is for dogs who have taken a Playful Pups class already. It may be taken either before or after Basic L (loose-leash walking).

* Intermed ObedIntermed Obed

Time: 7:30 pm

(6 weeks) To be taken after at least two Basic classes, this class advances the skills and range of Obedience training. Dog sports may be introduced, including Agility and Rally.

* TDI / CGC PrepTDI / CGC Prep

Time: 6:00 pm

(3 weeks) This class prepares dog handler teams to pass the Canine Good Citizen test. It also will prepare dogs for the Therapy Dog International test. The tests are similar and are evaluated simultaneously; however, dogs need to be 6 months old for CGC and 1 year old for TDI.

You must pre-register for these tests with the evaluator, Jean Nohle: jnohle@verizon.net The tests are similar and are evaluated simultaneously; however, dogs need to be 6 months old for CGC and 1 year old for TDI.
